Not Another Cloudy Day, Mr. Sunshine The clouds are made with the same sponging technique that you’ll see in galaxy nail tutorials: a hunk of makeup sponge dipped in a bit of polish. I did two layers of sponging to get multiple levels of transparency in the clouds. I painted on the sun first, so that he could be partially covered by one of the clouds. And that’s it! The clouds are made with the same sponging technique that you’ll see in galaxy nail tutorials: a hunk of makeup sponge dipped in a bit of polish. I did two layers of sponging to get multiple levels of transparency in the clouds. I painted on the sun first, so that he could be partially covered by one of the clouds. And that’s it!

I decided to mess with a new skinny brush and that same gray as last time. The stripes idea was one of those ones that sneaks up on me when I’m falling asleep, so of course it didn’t come out quite as nice as I was picturing. The black polish came with its own little brush, but the white didn’t, and you can see the difference in quality pretty easily (the black is so much nicer ;~;) I also have no idea how I’m going to clean the dang brush well enough.
