Sunset Sliver Meh. Ever have one of those ideas that looks great in your head but doesn’t come out so hot in reality? It seemed so pretty when I was lining up my swatchicles, with the warm colors next to the new cool gray. It probably just needs an adjustment in execution. Maybe black instead of gray, maybe do the gradient second instead of first, maybe start earlier so that the gradient has longer to dry before sticking on the tape… maybe get these nails to grow out instead of snapping off all the time at work. But it does make me think of watching a sunset between city buildings. I decided to mess with a new skinny brush and that same gray as last time. The stripes idea was one of those ones that sneaks up on me when I’m falling asleep, so of course it didn’t come out quite as nice as I was picturing. The black polish came with its own little brush, but the white didn’t, and you can see the difference in quality pretty easily (the black is so much nicer ;~;) I also have no idea how I’m going to clean the dang brush well enough.
